Dinky's ears are less floppy at almost a year than they used to be, and I think taping might have worked or him.
When we picked him up, he had his ears taped up. We stopped on the way home to get him a new collar. I went into the store for it, and DH waited with him in the car. I got to the car to find DH tenderly removing the tape from this tiny puppy's ear. He was crooning to him about getting that nasty tape off. DH had not been as keen on getting a dog, but within 20 minutes was already in love with the floppy ears, so my decision was made. By the time we got home, we were in love with his nose, tail, paws, and button eyes as well.
Anyway, from what I've read on YT taping can be pretty effective. I hold Dink's ears up now and then to check out that look on him. Yep, he's still adorably adorable! |
