Funny, I always thought Goulash was just homemade hamburger helper my mom came up with, LOL She made hers with ground beef, onion if you like it, tomato sauce, mixed vegetables (veg.soup), and macaroni. When it was thickened, she put slices velveeta cheese on top until it was melted good, then it was time to eat! Yummy...brings back childhood memories.
