I also have a special needs yorkie and I know how much time and patience it takes. But I can just look at my little 'Angel" and she makes me melt. She is 5 1/2 years old and shouldn't have made it at all. It just shows that there isn't anything we can't deal with when we really know how to 'LOVE' unconditionally.   |

I've said it before, but if this didn't happen to my own baby, I don't think I ever would have chosen it. I totally commend anyone who will take in any animal knowing they have special needs. Now, I wouldn't even think twice about it! I know these special ones are just as capable of showing love as any other animal, and the things we do to keep Layla happy and comfortable are totally worth it.
