  I'll have to look over his contract again but I don't think it was specific as to what age he would be picking.   They are only 1 week old so we have time, I was just wondering.   They are not for "show" but for herding/competition type stuff so there's really no way to know how well they will train until they are older so he'll basically just be picking by sex and color.  Given the bloodlines though, they will all do excellent in that field (as her last litter is proving now).   We have two different colored females for him to choose from (he at least knows he wants females) so that narrows it down a bit.
