About 5 years ago we got two kittens from the animal shelter. After a few months we realized that they had ringworm (turns out the shelter had an outbreak while they were there). Luckily they are outside cats (we live in the country and they are great at critter-catching!) so we didn't have a big problem inside the house but Tatum did get a spot on her. The cats had to be bathed every couple days for a couple weeks (if I remember right) with a prescription shampoo. THAT was fun!! No, really they were actually very good at taking baths. They just weren't very happy about having to be kenneled while the shampoo sat on them for a while each time. Luckily that cleared up our problem. On the other hand, when my kids were little, my MIL got a litter of kittens from her boss who were highly infected with ringworm. My daughters ended up getting it quite severely all over their arms, legs and even a few spots on their faces. Nightmare! I tell you this because if you do get it on yourself, Lotrimin cream will clear it up pretty quickly. You just have to put it on the spot(s) very regularly and continue for a while even after the spot looks healed.
As for the apple cider vinegar..... can I ask a possibly stupid question? Are we talking about putting it in their water or putting it directly on the ringworm spot? I hadn't heard of that but I do know that ACV is great for many things so it doesn't surprise me.
Good luck!!
