I have a cute little girl here. Izzy. She is about 6 months old, and already has a distinct personality. Got her cheap because the breeder said she was an 'ugly duckling'. She has thin fir around her haunches, and an underbite and HUGE ears! Other than that, she seems pretty normal, but this is my first experience with Yorkies. I've wanted one for a while now, as my black lab died about 7 years ago. It's taken me that long to get my mind around having another dog. My Max was super special. I still miss him terribly, but now that both my parents are gone too, it's kind of put in perspective.
Yorkies just seem like they exist to make you smile. I need that, and I am happy to give lots of love in return. I am thinking I might need to get a companion for her at some point. She is very intelligent and bores easily. I have bought tons of toys, but that only helps somewhat.
I found this site in response to a search about her diarrhea. I will try the canned pumpkin and see how that goes. Any advice on how to feed the pumpkin?
It seems like shes had it forever, but its only been a couple of days. At least she is calmer and less fidgety now! LOL
So, I am happy to be here, and I look forward to interacting with you all, for now though, I need to get out and do errands before this newest snow becomes a factor.
Namaste,
