I want to say, I am new to all of this and really not sure how to get back to my post and comment under others where they made comments. My boy is AKC and I was scammed because he was not what I asked for. If this breeder has been doing this for a long time as per the department of agriculture should of known what her adult dogs turned out to be appox. size and color.. My boy is a dark steel blue gray and tan, same as my girl. I should clarify what I meant by rescue a classmate of her sisters daughter had this yorkie for only a couple of days n no longer wanted her and was unable to care for her, therefore my sister purchased her and knowing how much I love the breed that I would love her and take care of her needs and wants. She has purebred paper through Continental Kennel Club and we submitted her family tree to AKC to see if she is and just was never registered. My posts were asking about the sizes..as I saw other stating they had 10lb yorkies and their babies were 5lbs as adults. Everyone that purchased my puppies did so for a family pets and they will NOT be bread and I keep everyone within family and friends to assure my pups were taken care of within my STANDARD!! I was asking about size as I really don't want to go pay a breeder again $800-$1000 and then within the 1st 12 hours have a vet bill of $300 and may others after to follow, I spent $2000 in the 6 months. So I figured if I could have my small yorkie I would have my dream be fulfilled and not have to keep searching. So I thank you for the comments that were made and I did consult my vet after this accident happened. We were talking about mating them and it happened before all of our discussion was done. I have gotten my girl the best treatment possible and she is doing well. She gave birth to 2 at home and the other 2 by c-section, to me this was my vets fault for not further instructing me on what I should do and that is why we have changed vets that is 1 n 1/2 hrs away, to ensure they receive the best possible care. We see the vet today and hopefully they will be able to claifiy all my unanswered questions and hopefully my little Izzy (Izza Boo) will be my miracle baby that survived her path to get life and be exactly what my dream was. If her color changes to be the steel gray and tan like her mom and dad that is fine by me I just want my little dog. The people in whom purchased my dogs have seen both mom and dad have met the whole litter and I have NOT promised them anything within size and color do to what I went through with a so called breeder that knew it all, she was after the quick mighty dollar and that was all. My pups are active n play n truly bring me joy and happiness and if my Izzy gets to be big like mom n dad that is okay, 3 will be my limit, as I know what I can handle and afford. They all go to groomers and get brushed daily and get their heart worm and flea n tick meds. They are all TRULY happy and their is NO better home they can be in, they were both PUREBRED papered dogs.
