i just heard some very sad news on the radio driving home today. A 66 year old woman, was found this morning at about 6am, she was rushed to the hospital, but did not make it. She died of hypothermia. Now this woman had alzheimers, and was found about a 5 minute walk from her house, in a nice quiet suburban neighbourhood. Apparently many of these neighbours where she was found heard various screams/cries for help at around 2am in the morning and NOT one of the 17 people called 911

It's a sad and tragic tale. And I wonder how could so many folks turn their backs on cries for help? Humanity here sure needs a whole lot of "human" put back into folks.
