My first husband was adopted by his biological father and his wife after his biological father had an afair with his biological mother. His biological mother was married to his biological uncle (his adoptive/biological father's brother).
So his adoptive father was also his biological father and his biological mother was also his adoptive aunt. His uncle was his uncle both biologically and adoptively but his adoptive mother was only his adoptive mother.
Many years later his adoptive mother and her third husband (no relation) adopted his biological niece and adoptive cousin. She then became his biological sister. So there Steve. figure that one out!
