The only time my yorkie doesn't get to it first is if my grand dog is here. She is a 3# Morkie and fast as lightening! No other dog has beat her to dropped food yet. I have a bad back so getting to the floor is a slow process for me if I can do it at all. I try not to drop anything but sometimes I do.
