I am so sorry you had to deal with this woman and her attitude. I am glad to hear you are not giving up. I too originally wanted to adopt a rescue. I was told no because I did not have a backyard as well. I had looked for over 2 years and had been refused. That is how I ended getting Buster through a Pet store. How much yard does a 8lb dog need. It is not like you can leave a dog that small out in the yard with all the predators out there animal and human a like. We have had dogs stolen out of backyards here in my neighborhood. I understand that you have to be careful when placing dogs but the rules can be a bit too restrictive. The dogs are the ones who ultimately lose out because there are many loving potential owners who are turned down. |
