Harty Girl. First of all, I made the mistake of believing and trusting and have admitted this. I have already explained on here that it took three years for this woman to gain my trust. For years I'd advocated NOT to buy from her because she brokered and you do not know how the parents are being treated of those pups she has. It was ONLY AFTER she stated that she started her own breeding program and this was three years later of having conversatios with her, did I buy a dog from her.
I also paid a few visits to her and her place was immaculate. As far as Glenda goes, I was told by Susan that Brooklyn was a stud fee puppy. I ASSUMED "Susan's" stud fee puppy, which was not the case. Glenda and Susan work back and forth together with pups and studding and they even co-own a dog together. I had many conversation with Glenda and really liked her.
I have rescues. I work in rescue and I would NEVER intentionally add to the problem. I trusted them both. There were no issues with Brooklyn when I got her other then a cough which Susan said was from the kennel cough vaccine. She was not sick like Mia. AND, almost two years later she is perfect and healthy. I had not reason to believe Mia wouldn't be too. AND, I would never buy from someone who gets pups from mills etc. I ONLY found out through a third party that she still does broker pups not only from Glenda but other places too. If I had known this I would never have dealt with her even IF the pups were fine because I DO NOT ADVOCATE buying from people that support commercial kennels or puppy mills. Believe me when I say ALL of this, not just my experience is being dealt with and that's really all I can say other then I made a mistake.
I do not blame you for saying what you have said about me. It is something I would say to someone too because I believe as you do. I've said many times it's a vicious cycle and if you buy a dog from a pet shop it only opens the cage for another. It's the same as buying from a bad breeder. Believe me when I say I did trust and I got taken with that. IT won't happen again and I will make it right. Elaine
