I like the German wines, Auslese on up, although a Spatlese is good too.
The good ones are hard to find now. I also don't like that the majority of stores I have seen carrying wines do not have them laid on their side, but standing upright.
I know some people on another forum like something called "Two buck chuck", but I would be wary of a wine costing so little.
I remember years ago going into the Class VI (liquor store) on base and buying two bottles of wine, one was labeled "Cheap Red Wine" and the other "Cheap White Wine". I bought them as a joke for a friend.
