Maybe put the treats in a puzzle toy to keep your pup occupied instead of them just coming from the drawer and whining???
I'd also recommend moving the treats out of the treat drawer and perhaps showing them there is nothing in there? They are pretty smart they might get the point that there aren't anymore to be found there?
Yeah I have no clue. Mine hardly make a peep, except when I leave the room for too long
