As far as I know this has been a nasty rumor for some time. Since I have no intention of breeding nor showing Teddi it is not really a concern. Personally I have had a wonderful experience with Anne and would never continue perpetuation of ANY rumor. If Teddi were intended for show/breeding I would have asked for the correct testing to insure that the gene not be passed to offspring however I would ask this of any breeder. How sad that this horrible, unproven smurch is continually brought up. If it is proven fact, so be it. From what I have read - it happens. Most of the time through no fault of the breeder.

It's interesting you've brought up this breeder and are referring her to others now, as she was recently mentioned in another thread. It is a big responsibility to recommend a breeder. I might be afraid another person's experience wouldn't be the same as mine, and perhaps they could get a sick puppy or dog. "
Yes it is an HUGE responsibility to recommend a breeder. I for one stand behind my recommendation.
