I've never heard of 6 weeks being a problem, but I don't know much about this kind of thing. Thanks for all of your responses.

It is not my girlfriend that wants her home at 6 weeks, that is just the time the breeder told us she would be ready. I'm not sure how much she weighs right now.

Her sister has gotten a yorkie from the same breeder and never ran into trouble so I will ask them
