Older dogs have a weaker immune system. Muffin isn't able to fight the kennel cough off as easily as a puppy. Kennel cough can hang on for quite awhile.
Are you making sure Muffin has quiet time and a space free from the puppy so she can rest? Puppies can stress an older dog out. Muffin needs lots of rest so she can recover. |
