No I don't agree, the odds are not any better. The % of good and bad people is the same in any group of people.
There are the % of bad professionals are there are bad NON professionals, in any field.
Why do you think that people who choose not to show are less reputable?
I thouroughy agree, do your homework on the breeder. Do not assume that they are good or bad because of the club they belong to.
There are YTCA members that sell tinies for exhorbatant prices, they have large kennels, that breed more than one breed of dog, that breed dogs out of strandard, that breed dogs who carry genes with helath issues etc.
In another thread, one even tried to sell a tiny with an open font for $5000.
