IMO, that is way too long to leave a puppy/dog in a small crate. And, without food or water. To me, that borders on neglect...I have no idea about that dog's size but IMO the crate should be at least 3-4 times larger than he is. I prefer an Xpen too, but some dogs are climbers.
Maybe your friend does not know dogs are social and inquisitive creatures who need room to move around in if left alone for that long..they need stimulation and exercise...
Maybe she needs to be educated about the care of a companion animal....I hope she re-considers the care of her baby.. |
