It could be his anal glands since he's scooting but it sounds to me like hes constipated. My pup was constipated once and it worked it self out in a day. I've heard you can give them pumpkin for that. I found on a first aid sheet that you could mix some mineral oil in his food for constipation too. I would take him to the vet if that makes you more comfortable but constipation usually will work itself out. If he continues to scoot though he probably needs his anal glands expressed. |
