Yes, breeders of all kinds, good and bad, will happily invite you to their home. There are many bad breeders who don't care what you see when you arrive. Some are oblivious to what they are doing wrong, and others are counting on you being so excited about getting your pup that you will rationalize all of the red flags and you won't turn around.

The best way to determine if this person is legitimate and that your pup is healthy is to research the name of the breeder and visit before you commit to purchasing.

I would want more than a 6 month health guarantee, and I would read the guarantee carefully. Some aren't worth the paper they are written on. More importantly, I would want evidence that breeder is someone who stands behind her pups and will be there for phone calls/email for questions and assistance if necessary.
