Thanks for sharing! My husband swears that Jack doesn't sound anything like those dogs. The dog in the collapsed trachea video makes more of a honk sound whereas Jack makes a hack and when he hacks it’s a short hack. It actually sounded closest to the dog with kennel cough. He does this about 2 times a day and maybe a bit more if he gets too excited as I stated earlier. I went out and bought organic cleaner since I hear it isn’t as harsh as bleach, or pine-sol. We’ll see if it helps the little guy at all. As far as walks go yes he does put a lot of strain on the harness. The brand I use is puppia and it's also mesh. I've tried to keep him by my side at all times while we walk but he continues to pull and cough/hack. I'll look into the buddy belt :-) I've also considered getting a doggy stroller. He does great on walks but when he's pooped out he's done and will just sit there! lol such a stubborn boy he is. I figured I could let him walk and if he got tired I could put him in the stroller.
