It is all a matter of preference and what you like. And you can always grow the hair back if you decide you don't like it tipped. She will be just as cute either way!!
I personally prefer mine grown out. Yes it does make their ears look bigger but I just love that long flowing look.
I do tip my boys' ears though as I consider it a more feminine look to have them grown out.
