I saw this statement posted in another thread. I just want to give the members here a warning. There is a brand of kennel crate sold in supermarts and walmart that is NOT safe. This kennel crate has a serious design fault. It has already caused the death of several dogs. The manufacturer of the crate is "PetMate Kennel" not the pet taxi but the wire kennel crate....is the dangerous one because of it's design.

Judge for yourself! It would be terrible to think one is doing the best for their dog to come home and find it dead. And from the very thing you "thought" would keep him safe. I am only bringing this up because these crates are "inexpensive" and are sold at discount stores and supermarkets! Other brands of kennel crates are perfectly safe to use!
In addition....I think I saw a picture of this crate being used by someone on this forum last night! That is another reason I am posting this warning!
