Default Yorkie Adoption Concerns

I understand your concerns and they are valid. I have considered the fragility of a small Yorkie and am also concerned about the same thing. I am specifically not looking to adopt a puppy or senior dog as they are the most fragile and am not looking for a XXS toy size. Fortunately, my daughter is bright and it will be fully explained about how easy it is to break a limb.

I have spoken with a couple of Yorkie owners in the area and have been told that they can be trained to not be a barker and that there are a equal amount that are not hyper to the ones that are. That is a positive and as far as accidents I have stock in the steam cleaning companies from the various hair balls and stuff a cat does. Shedding, barfing, pooping, peeing have done that with the cat and just about all that with my daughter as well. You just take it all in stride.

Personally, I am fond of the Yorkie breed and am hoping to find one 10 lbs and above so it is more suitable to the lifestyle we have. It is really just me and my daughter the roommates are either in their room or out doing their thing so we don't have a share of house situation. Actually all day you can literally hear a pin drop in my house which makes it a nice calm place to be. I hope that I have addressed some of your concerns and I am able to guarantee that this dog will not be neglected or unloved.
