I would strongly encourage you to research the breed prior to obtaining one if you have not already.

Your list of things that you are looking for in a yorkie are very concerning to me. Yorkies are wonderful pups, but please be aware that they are terriers. They also are very fragile. They are not known to do well with children, although it can work if the parents teach their children not to carry them and not to be too active around them. Yorkies often are turned into rescues because they were dropped by children and injured and the family could not afford the surgery; or they end up nippy because of all of the activity in the home. That is very common. The other two things I noted: you would prefer housebroken and yorkies are notoriously difficult to housebreak. You also don't want a hyper barking type.....yorkies are very yappy!

Just want you to really think this through.
