This is just my opinion, I am a stay at home mom, when I have to leave for 15 min up to a few hrs, I have all my dogs in their crates, but they have plenty of room in there.

I was thinking of getting a job, where I would have to leave my dogs alone for longer periods, up to 4 hrs at a time.... I would then put up their xpen, with food, water, and pee pad and plenty of toys.

I do know that dogs generally sleep when their owners are gone, but for 10hrs I am not so sure.

I don't think it is healthy for them, to be left crated for 10 hrs, but that is just my opinion, and it isnt' something i would do personally.
