You should have seen my first time using the clippers. I was 13 years old, just got my first pair of clippers and decided to use them on my cocker spaniel. The results were horrendous. I ended up cutting off way too much on the feet which was totally wrong for a cocker. What made matters worse is that I had a show with her the next day. So in desperation I carefully made a little wig with the hair I cut off and put it back on.
Would you believe it worked, lol.
I've come a long way since then and I am now very good with the clippers but it was a learning process. Poor Peppi had to endure several bad haircuts until I got the hang of it.
