 Bad news from vet
The little yorkie that I rescued from a horrible situation is going to have surgery for bladder stones. She has been on anitbiotics for 4 days and it was not helping at all. I took her to a different vet after I found out the other vet prescribed anitbiotics that arent usually used to treat utis. They done a x-ray and she has 2 stones that are about 1in each. He told me that he has never seen stones that big in a dog her size. He said her condition has been going on for a while. It makes me mad that the people didn't take better care of her. She is such a sweet lil girl and we all have fallen in love, especially my 5yr old son. I think my husband is going to let me keep her but now we have to come up with the money for her surgery. I really want to get her treated as soon as possible but we might have to wait a couple of weeks until we can come up with all the money. I do think Im getting a very reasonable price ($500-$582 including spay) Im going to call around and get different estimates and see if there are any vets willing to set up payment arrangements. Does anyone have any ideas of organizations that help with vet cost?
