I've never heard of Little Bites, but I would generally avoid anything you can get at the grocery store. There is a whole forum section on diet and health Yorkie Health & Diet - YorkieTalk.com Forums - Yorkshire Terrier Community

There are lots of ongoing discussions about different brands and what works for different people. Check out the top sticky on premium brands, there are quite a few companies that will send you free samples while you are trying to figure out what works best.

The premium foods may seem more expensive at first, but if you figure in that they generally require a smaller serving size, they work out to be about the same as the other brands. For instance, Pedigree small breed recommends 1 1/4- 1 3/4 cups per day while Blue Buffalo small breed suggests 1/2 cup to 1 1/4 cup per day for the same size dog.

In the end though, it comes down to what your dog will eat.

Yorkies are also prone to things like pancreatitis. Avoid high fat foods and treats.
