Welcome. I have read here about people having yorkies of different sizes. I would ask your vet if he is at a healthy weight. If he is at a healthy weight you just have a big boned yorkie or maybe a mix. My yorkie is small boned and sometimes I wish he was a bit bigger boned. His girlfriend weighs more and is quite the tank when they play so I wish he was a little more solid because I worry about him getting hurt if they roughhouse to much. I think you are wonderful for adding a 2 year old yorkie to your home. He will be a great companion. There just will be more to love. |
