I live in New York and although I live on Long Island, I would never leave my dog in the car unattended. If I have to run into a store my friend stays in the car with the dog and if she's not there I'll drop the puppy off at my home and then go out again. When I lived in New York City I would take my Beagle with me in the car and if I had to run into a store I know nobody would take her unless they wanted to lose a finger or an arm. Now I know better and even if I had a pit bull I wouldn't leave it alone in a car. |
