Tammy is right about pinpointing the triggers. As I mentioned earlier, I have many triggers, most of them are common migraine triggers. Hormonal changes are also triggers. I had to go for MRIs also of my neck and brain to rule out any problems. That's where they saw a herniated disc in the neck but it's not a big deal. I took Imitrex but Zomig worked better. That was when I was taking the full prescribed pill, My friend takes Imitrex and has the same health coverage as I do. Imitrex is now a generic, but she said that the generic wasn’t working for her in the same way the brand was working, so she switched to Zomig. I wonder if they would cover the shots, since I would doubt they are generic yet. |
