My girls have a female sign with an x inside the circle near their girly parts.
I was freaked out thinking it was a blood clot or something. I called the vet's office and he confirmed what LadyJane had suspected, a spay tatoo.
The vet said this was to prevent them from ever going through an unnecessary surgery should the unthinkable happen and they end up in a rescue or shelter.
I just don't want anyone else to be as shocked as I was~calling people at all hours of the night freaking out.
