I too have the cluster headaches. I have had them off and on for about 25 years. Once one starts it can take at least two weeks as well. I liked Midrin for quite a few years, they took it off the market for a while. I changed to Fioricet and have had some success.I Switched to Midrin when it was on the market again and it didn't do a thing for me anymore. In my office I also asked for the natural lighting. Florescent really sets them off. It really has helped! I have heard of the Botox, a doctor came and explained it to me one day when I had to turn the lights off in my office. He did say that if botox helped there was a chance to get a surgery that is almost like a mini face lift. (a plastic surgeon as you may have guessed) The botox thing frightens me. I had some put in once for my worry lines, definately paralizes.... Wish I had the answer for you. |
