Headaches are really the worst... Almost 2 years ago I got a closed head injury from being thrown from a new horse while getting into the saddle and landing on concrete pavers. (Owww & we sold the horse). I had daily headaches for over 4 months to where I could only work 1/2 a day before I had to go home. The thing that really helped me out (when I finally went back to the doctor) was that he prescribed a daily medication called Amitriptyline. This is one of the first medications used for depression but there has been alot of research done into it's use for chronic pain. It was a miracle drug for me. I took it for about 3 months and then went off for several weeks, when the headaches returned I started it again. After taking for almost a year I am now off but I would recommend talking with your physician about this medication for headaches. It really works.
