Oh do I feel your pain. I have struggled with them for about 12 years. Sounds like we have the same type, I almost all the time have a low grade headache. I get migraines 2 or 3 times a month. Mine get so bad that I throw up all day long, I end up in the ER, etc. My head actually feels like it is going to blow up. It is awful.

The only thing I took that got rid of them was Topamax. It works great. You take it daily to prevent them. I lost my insurance 2 years ago and could no longer afford it, its about 400.00 a month. I highly recommend it, but like all meds the warning label scares you to death. I would ask your doctor about it. You have to start taking it at night, because it makes you sleepy. You will slowly increase dosage etc. until you take it morning and night. I started out at 25mg and got up to 200mg per day.
