he weighs 1pound in change ...i will keep a can of pumpkin handy just in case...thank u so much for all ur help

One thing many members here use to treat diarrhea (& also constipation & upset tummy) is give them a little bit of canned pumpkin, make sure it is just pure pumpkin and not the kind with spices for pie. You can give tiny bites from your finger.
Again, be sure you know how to watch for hypoglycemia and dehydration in puppies. There is a sticky note somewhere on this forum, but I don't have time to find it. Do a search, you'll find them.
