She had told me that under a certain amount of money, BOA tellers do not have to check for ID! In my opinion, whether the check is written for $5 or $1000, an ID should be verified for this very reason. I went in the bank Friday to cash my paycheck and I was asking the bank manager a question regarding my claim and was explaining to her that if that policy is true, then I personally don't feel comfortable with my money being that bank. She then tells me that the claims analyst is wrong and that they do have to check ID... so someone is covering up somewhere and I intend on find out why. I will still probably be changing accounts to Navy Federal. |
What a run around and it should have never happen!!!! I'd be changing banks ASAP!!! None of us deserve the treatment we have gotten, and the worst part, non of it was our fault. We were even early making the mortgage payment and it was only three weeks later that the call from a collector started and BOA had already charged our account a LATE FEE!!!
Well, we sure don't have to continue banking with untrained people. Scary that they are working in a bank of all places.
