One was how much I could tell he loved being there and the other was how beautiful his coat was and how it flowed when he moved. Simply amazing to me.

ETA~I was looking at another thread and took a look at a site that Donna recommended. There they both were! Sweetyblue - REPORTAGES - Gallery
HA HA! You said what I was thinking (I bolded it)!

1. Out of curiosity did anyone ask her dog's age and ever answer her actual question...? Am I missing it...?

2. Totally off topic to OP but, I was curious if the dog with fault is a female and the "corrective" genes are coming from a male does that count a ruining the breed? I don't mean this specific to this case just in general BTW.

3. I just had to say WOW that is some curly hair! I have never seen a wave so pronounced it looks like a crimper has been used on her-isn't there also a correlation between hormones and texture just like the red (brown) tinge to coats some gets? Is it partially a hormonal imbalance? I know there's genetics, obviously in coat type, but is there a hormonal correlation in Yorkies for this?

4. I thought the picture presented a silver dog more than white Parti but then again last week I called a silver and black Parti carrier a Parti because the silver looked white on my pc....

5. Do cotton coated Yorkies count as having similar genetics to double coated dogs? I thought a breeder here recent said something about that and have been wondering why myself since...a cottony Yorkie's coat is nothing like my mini schnauzies double coat in my observation, not even the same as my Schnorkie's (Yorkie/ schnauzie hybrid) coat.

6. Wikipedia is a really stinky reference to use for anything it's a good starting point, though. I use it to look up things and then see the references and search those sources, but other than that Wikipedia shouldn't be relied on.
