I don't know where you live but some places vet will suggest it cause Leptospirosis is really bad in the area. I had one pup that when she first got her shot in the back area, wouldn't walk and cried for a day, so the next puppy shot I asked then not to give it to her there and she was fine. I freaked out with my first one Lexie when she had the shots too, she had the knot for a couple of weeks.
