Ok...first - thank you. I have been wanting to use this little avatar for a while now!!! Second - I was kind of wanting Teddi to never taste rawhide either. It happened so fast and it was in the shape of a candy cane and he was already completely digging it that I could not take it away from him!!
@Nancy - I doubt that it was that type of rawhide. They were purchased in bulk at Big Lots. Another red flag for me but some people/vets do not see the problem with them. In fact the fill in vet said that they are so processed these days that they are fine. Personally I don't believe that and Teddi will never have another. One puppy 'oops' is ok but we try very hard to be the best possible parents to our little one. I doubt he will even miss them.
Looking into the bully sticks but am questioning whether those are even necessary too. He likes his nylabones so think we'll stick with those for now. Thanks everyone!! ♥
