Some time dog can get allergies to the same food they have been on awhile... Glade he's going to the vet.. In the mean time, maybe give him some wet food...Something that is really good like wellness, Natural Balance, Fromm etc...offer him what ever is soft and easy to eat.. Maybe the hard kibble is just to hard for him to eat? i not sure but it's worth a try
