I'm really glad to read you're going to the vet, bc I'd be as concerned as you are, even though this could be something minor.
I can't really offer an opinion about what's going on with him. Any breathing issues (short of breath etc)? His 'weakness' is only after eating or drinking? Is he swallowing harder than normal? Are his gums nice and pink/moist - or are they pale?
