I am so sorry to hear your new yorkie is so sick. When I first got Buster he had a really bad heaving cough. It was a bad case of kennel cough that we treated with antibiotics for a month. He was getting better but he got a shot and had a relapse so he had to be hospitalized on IV fluids and antibiotics for 3 days. He also had coccidia and giardia so he was pretty sick. I made sure to give him nutrical a couple times a day to keep up his strength. I got a humidifier and would steam him when he had a bad coughing attack. I hope that the shots did not weaken your puppy's already compromised health. So please take your puppy to a vet quickly as they are so small their immune system is delicate.Your puppy may require a lot of nursing to get them healthy again but the love and bonding experience of taking care of such a precious little life will be worth it.
