Default Same Problem

Just quickly scanning the ingredients, I would be skeptical because of the sucrose too but also the whole wheat flour and the high fat.
I have the exact same problem as you.
When I got my dog at 18 mnths, as a rescue they gave her to me with a bag of Purina Puppy Chow. She was a real mess. Her eyes, teeth and hair.
I cook for her and have ever since but free feed on kibble. I tried many different premium brands. Turns out she loves the Royal Canin. I don't want her to eat that anymore. I have tried the Orijen, Now, EVO and several others but she doesn't stick with them. Always goes back to the Royal Canin.
Learning as I go along, as it is time consuming but fun, I still cook for her, she also has organic beef we raise, raw with her vegetables.
In the meanwhile I am learning about digestive enzymes, calcium and other mineral supplements that I ought to be adding to her diet, since I cook for her.
I came here tonight in hopes to see what others are feeding their Yorkie's.
I know that I would like mine to live to the max of age as possible and know diet is going to have a lot to do with that!
She does eat the EVO, sometimes but the protein content is quite high so concerned about her liver etc.. Such a learning curve.
I now have three piles of dry food. One EVO, one Royal Canin and the other Now. She is going for the EVO still. Prefer over the R.C. but rather find something with a bit less protein content.
Please let me know if you find something that your dog will eat that is of a higher quality food. Preferably without artificial preservatives, without anything wheat or corn.
I will do the same and thank you in advance. Best to you.

Seems a little heavy on the fat, to me. These would probably be a better occasional treat than the mainstay of the diet.
