ah, that/new camera may be it then. Or the eye flash thing doesn't always follow, one or the other. Of course, I'm assuming the 'silky coat' is in fact the long, flowing, straight hair, which my gold flashing Yorkie has (maybe all this time I just assumed incorrectly). As far as my cotton coat, I really don't know if she's a cotton coat per se, I've always kept her short because her hair is not "nice" --- I call her a cotton coat because her hair is definitely different from my one Yorkie with hair that is beautiful/traditional looking. So maybe my cotton coat is a "mix" of both and just flashes green.
