Your sweet puppy could just be severely dehydrated. My youngest Oakley who weighs a pound and is only 10 months old got severely dehydrated 2 days after I got him in June. He just laid in his bed, vomited, coughed, and just couldn't stand up, and also didn't respond to anything. I quickly got on the phone with his breeder (as her daughter is a close friend) and she said to immediately get unflavored pedialyte and feed it to him through a baby sipper. After about 5 sips of the pedialyte Oak started to come around. She then told me to get raw chicken, from a can, and feed it to him in little bites. He was fine within about 30 min. This has happened 3 times since and the vet said it isn't a rare occasion! Hope your puppies better! |
