Queston, wondering why the vet didn't do an x-ray initially, that would have given the vet indication how to proceed. POP (oxytocin) shot will assist her in expelling any dead tissue and help her with the let down of milk....

The vet went off the initial xray that was done a week ago. He say 7 maybe 8 puppies. So when you felt Roxy's belly it seriously felt like a puppy. I think we all fell into the category of just assuming it was a puppy and because it had been two hours after the last puppy they just started the oxytocin immediately.
