Thanks for the post, but I did see before that the dog is 23 months old. More than anything I blame the pet store and the irresponsible breeders who give these dogs to them. This is why people make impulse buys and listen to every word the pet store people say, even though at the one in my area they have some YOUNG teenagers working there giving bad info. They were the ones who probably told her that the dog's ideal weight is less than 5 lbs.
She IS going on the internet doing research. Isn't that something this site can be used for? What better place than to talk to the people who love these dogs the most? No disrespect to anyone either.
